Bush Heritage Australia is a nonprofit organisation established in 1991 to protect and restore Australia's natural environments and wildlife. It acquires and manages significant conservation lands, works to restore degraded ecosystems, and collaborates with Indigenous communities, landowners, and other partners. The organisation safeguards endangered species and habitats across Australia, using sustainable land management practices to ensure long-term biodiversity conservation. Bush Heritage plays a key role in preserving Australia's unique landscapes for future generations.
Landcare Australia is a national nonprofit that supports community-driven conservation across Australia. Working with local groups comprising farmers, landowners, and Indigenous communities, Landcare funds and advocates for sustainable land management, ecosystem restoration, and biodiversity protection. The organisation recognises the importance of Indigenous knowledge and actively collaborates with First Nations communities to ensure traditional ecological practices are woven into modern conservation efforts — fostering land management that is both effective and culturally grounded.
Surfrider Foundation Australia is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to the protection and preservation of Australia's coasts, beaches, and marine environments. Part of the global Surfrider Foundation network founded in 1984, the organisation works alongside Indigenous communities who hold deep connections to country and sea — collaborating on initiatives that address marine pollution, habitat restoration, and sustainable coastal management. Their work acknowledges that protecting Australia's coastline requires both modern environmental advocacy and the wisdom of traditional knowledge.
With the sale of each home, we plant a number of trees to offset carbon produced during the build — with a goal of 2,000 trees planted by 2026. Our partner in this is One Tree Planted, a global nonprofit founded in 2014 that restores ecosystems through community-driven reforestation projects worldwide. In Australia, One Tree Planted has been instrumental in bushfire recovery efforts following the devastating 2019–2020 season, replanting native species in fire-affected areas to restore biodiversity, protect wildlife habitats, and heal degraded landscapes. Their work with Indigenous communities ensures reforestation efforts align with traditional land management practices and regional needs.
